Free Audio Book: The Strangely Beautiful Tale of Miss Percy Parker

The Audio Book Shop is offering a free download of the audio book The Strangely Beautiful Tale of Miss Percy Parker by Lienna Renee Hieber.

What fortune awaited sweet, timid Percy Parker at Athens Academy? Hidden in the dark heart of Victorian London, the Romanesque school was dreadfully imposing, a veritable fortress, and little could Percy guess what lay inside. She had never met its powerful and mysterious Professor Alexi Rychman, knew nothing of the growing shadows, of the Ripper and other supernatural terrors against which his coterie stood guard. She saw simply that she was different, haunted, with her snow white hair, pearlescent skin and uncanny gift. This arched stone doorway was a portal to a new life, to an education far from what could be had at a convent-and it was an invitation to an intimate yet dangerous dance at the threshold of life and death...

This is a really lovely and unique fantasy and if you haven't yet read it I highly suggest you take this opportunity to get the audio book for free.

How wonderful, this is one I've been meaning to read. Thanks for sharing!

sweet! i really liked this book. thanks for sharing :)

Hmmm.... definitely sounds interesting. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of audioboks, but I might pick it up and read it. Thanks for the heads up.

FairiesNest: My pleasure. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

chelleyreads: Me too. I'm looking forward to reading the sequel now.

Bryan: I'm a fairly new convert to audio books and I'm now really loving them. They are great for commutes to work or to listen to while doing chores. And there are some books that I have enjoyed even more in audio format than in book format, though in general I do still prefer to read a book.

I was rabid to read this book last year and once I finally got my hands on it, I couldn't get into it. Perhaps I didn't read far enough along.

Thanks Simcha -
I just bought this for my nook and now its being offered on B&N for free. Oh well :)

Shellie:...which is exactly why you should be checking out my blog everyday, possibly a few times a day- just in case ;) Enjoy the book!
