Wow, it's weird how none of these releases actually look that great to me. I am turned off by kick-butt women wearing very little clothes on covers.
The Gods of Amyrantha looks great!

I already have a copy of Ares Express on the to read stack and I am definitely going to read Kay's new book.

<<
>>

No idea when yet though. The To read stack has been growing again.

Thanks for the tip on Neil Gaiman's new book! I'm looking forward to Riordan's The Red Pyramid out next month.

Brizmus: Yeah, I find those covers annoying as well. Though I'm often not too impressed with the content in those books either

Val: I've heard good things about Ares Express. I haven't read anything yet by Kay but I plan to focus on doing so soon. Though I want to start with his earlier stuff.

Donna: That would be great, thanks. I actually got the idea for a weekly listing from you :)
I've read mixed reviews of Feed, though zombie books don't really interest me so I probably won't be trying this one. Just the idea of zombies nauseates me.

Susan: It does look like a fun book. I had posted a couple of weeks ago a video of Neil Gaiman reading it. It's really great (though anything Neil Gaiman reads sounds wonderful) You can check it out here

Thanks for the heads up about The Red Pyramid. I just started on The Lightening Thief, which I've been looking forward to reading since I've heard really good things about it.

We are big Percy Jackson fans in our house - but be warned: the books are better than the movie (although it is still worth seeing). I love Riordan's irreverent humor! :)

Feed is what I want. I just love that cover with the ubiquitous feed logo --- only in blood. Witty.

I have heard great things about Under Heaven and I would like to try Feed - computers and an apocalypse - it sounds just like my type of thing!

What a great idea listing these! Like I need to know of more books I probably won't get a chance to read any time soon!
I may post a link to this like a couple other commenters mentioned.
I like the sound of Ghosts and Echoes; Song of Scarabaeus; Ohh- more in The Lost Fleet series - cool!; Chaos Bites; I have been looking longingly at Marked for a while...well that is enough for a good start of more books to think about! LOL

Susan Kaye Quinn: I have to admit that so far The Lightening Thief feels a little young for me, but its still cute. I'll probably end up passing it on to my younger sister when I finish.

Stephanie: I just received The Forest of Hands and Teeth, which I hear has zombies in it. If I enjoy that book perhaps I'll try Feed next. If you do read it, I look forward to hearing your opinion.

Esther: Everybody seems to be talking about Under Heaven, which makes me really curious to read it, especially since I haven't read anything by Kay before. As for Feed, I'm undecided about that one. But if you read it, I'd love to hear what you think.

Martha: My trick is to compile the list with my eyes shut, so that I don't get tempted by all the great books which are released each week, and which I know I won't get around to reading for a really long time. Thanks for posting about it!
